About us
 Children and Radio is a
non-for-profit company limited by guarantee, set up in 2004, which is working
towards full charity status.
Our objectives are:
- To advance the education of the public in
all aspects of radio broadcasting for and by children and
young people, in particular but not exclusively by:
- (a) providing a forum for the exchange
of information on all aspects of radio broadcasting for
and by children and young people;
- (b) undertaking research into all
aspects of radio broadcasting for and by children and
young people and disseminating the results of such
research to the public.
- To advance the education and training of
children and young people in the skills of sound recording
and production and the making of radio programmes.
So far, our main activities have been as
